AmAMorph: Finite State Morphological Analyzer for Amazighe
نویسندگان
چکیده
The paper begins with the development of Amazighe lexicons with large coverage formalization. The built electronic lexicons, named ‘NAmLex’, ‘VAmLex’ and ‘PAmLex’ which stand for ‘Noun Amazighe Lexicon’, ‘Verb Amazighe Lexicon’ and ‘Particles Amazighe Lexicon’, link inflectional, morphological, and syntacticsemantic information to the list of lemmas. Automated inflectional and derivational routines are applied to each lemma producing over inflected forms.

Amazighe Verbal Inflectional Morphology: A New Approach for Analysis and Generation
Amazighe inflectional morphology poses special challenges to Natural Language Processing (NLP) systems. Its rich morphology and the highly complex word formation process of roots and patterns make NLP tools for Amazighe very challenging. In this paper we present an approach for inflectional morphological analysis and generation for Amazighe verbs. The main motivation for this work is to obtain ...
متن کاملToward an amazigh language processing
Since antiquity, the Amazigh heritage is expanding from generation to generation. In the aim of safeguarding it from being threatened of disappearance, it seems opportune to equip this language of necessary means to confront the stakes of access to the domain of New Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). In this context, and in the perspective to build tools and linguistic resources ...
متن کاملConversion of Procedural Morphologies to Finite-State Morphologies: A Case Study of Arabic
In this paper we describe a conversion of the Buckwalter Morphological Analyzer for Arabic, originally written as a Perl-script, into a pure finite-state morphological analyzer. Representing a morphological analyzer as a finite-state transducer (FST) confers many advantages over running a procedural affix-matching algorithm. Apart from application speed, an FST representation immediately offers...
متن کاملAutomated Paradigm Selection for FSA based Konkani Verb Morphological Analyzer
A Morphological Analyzer is a crucial tool for any language. In popular tools used to build morphological analyzers like XFST, HFST and Apertium’s lttoolbox, the finite state approach is used to sequence input characters. We have used the finite state approach to sequence morphemes instead of characters. In this paper we present the architecture and implementation details of a Corpus assisted F...
متن کاملRule Based Morphological Analyzer of Kazakh Language
Having a morphological analyzer is a very critical issue especially for NLP related tasks on agglutinative languages. This paper presents a detailed computational analysis of Kazakh language which is an agglutinative language. With a detailed analysis of Kazakh language morphology, the formalization of rules over all morphotactics of Kazakh language is worked out and a rule-based morphological ...
